Probiotics International Ltd (Protexin), manufacturers of Bio-Kult are pleased to announce the appointment of five employees to fill newly created company roles.  Protexin, now in their 21st year, has witnessed year on year growth, expanding to now employ 88 people.

Lauren Lemmer, a recent graduate from Plymouth University joined the company in May to fill a Marketing Executive role.  She said: “I am thrilled to have been offered a fantastic position with a successful, international company.  I look forward to working on marketing strategies that will help build these popular brands even further.”

Company Director, Toby Lewis said: “It has been wonderful to see the company grow, supporting the local community and the paramedicinal industry with employment.  We are very proud with what we have achieved so far and have high hopes for the future.”

The new roles were created shortly after Protexin’s recent success of being named as a ‘Best Company’ to work for 2013.  

Protexin were also nominated for Best Business in this year’s local Western Gazette Business of the year awards, but were piped to the post by Yeovil Town Football Club – a massive congratulations to them.  Take a look at the nomination video below!
